You can explore the plazas and pedestrian streets near the Cathedral de San Salvador, the Calle Gascona, and enjoy traditional sidra. Also, you can visit the nearby Pre-Romanesque monuments at Mt. Naranco. Naranco. The stunning Old Quarter of Oviedo, the Gothic cathedral of San Salvador, and the 400-year-old University, are all ideal places to learn Spanish language, culture, and society.

Students typically live with host families that are experienced and have one student per family. Host families provide a private bedroom for students as well as shared laundry facilities and meals. In the summer, accommodation is available through the University of Oviedo's residence halls. Single rooms are available in the residence halls with en-suite bathrooms. Students can also purchase meal plans individually or arrange for group meals at the student cafeteria. On request, faculty can be accommodated in an apartment or with a host family.
